Blooms and Bell Sleeves

Spring is in the air, and it's wonderful! Some of my absolute favorite things about this season are warmer weather, sundresses, and gardening. I think I've always adored gardening. I used to watch my grandmother every summer as she cared for her flower beds, and I worked along side my father and grandfather weeding the vegetable gardens. There is something so lovely about nurturing a small plant and watching it grow. Gardening takes patience and effort, but the results are amazing.

 

So, in the spirit of spring, I found this inspiring floral dress at Gladiola Girls, and naturally, we took photos at a garden center nearby.

I am a sucker for a good bell sleeve and floral print. This adorable shift dress by Dex Clothing is the perfect length, with a beautiful tie closure in the back. I paired it with these cream, ruffled sandals by Free People. The color of these heels pulled out the floral pattern in the dress so well while remaining neutral.

I accessorized with some gorgeous circle earrings, a pendant necklace, and this handcrafted spiral ring from J. Mills Studio. Another piece that really caught my eye at Gladiola Girls was this HOBO leather clutch. Their vintage hide is unbelievably soft, and this color would compliment tons of outfits.
