When I first saw this dress, when I first ran my fingers through its blue chiffon pleats, my mind was transported to the mountains. The thought of how beautiful this dress would look blowing in the wind brought to my mind the image of a bird soaring above the Blue Ridge, its blue feathers complemented by the mountains and the sky.

Of course, this dress is by the brand Free People. Their style is classic, bohemian, and expressive. They love to play with different prints, textures, and silhouettes in their beautifully made clothing. The Free People girl is confident and adventurous, and this dress captures her spirit perfectly.

A garment evokes different images, associations, and feelings in each person. Everyone has the ability to work a garment into her own unique outfit that captures the essence of her own fantasy. When I wear this dress, I become a mountaintop goddess, ready to take flight.
